Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Recipify mobile application operated by Mozaik Software Solutions Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The App

Recipify is an AI-powered mobile application that helps you discover recipes based on ingredients you photograph or browse. The App uses artificial intelligence to identify ingredients and generate recipe suggestions.

The App is available on iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store). Minimum OS requirements are shown on the respective store listings.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Recipify. By using the App you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission.

3. Free Trial & Subscriptions

3a. Free Tier

Recipify offers a limited free tier. Free users may perform up to 3 AI ingredient scans at no charge. Browse and favourite features from the recipe catalogue remain available on the free tier.

3b. Recipify Pro

"Recipify Pro" is a paid subscription that unlocks unlimited AI scans and additional features. Subscription pricing is displayed in the App at the time of purchase and may vary by region.

• Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual, as selected).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play account settings.
• No refunds are provided for the unused portion of a subscription period, except where required by applicable law.

3c. Prices & Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of price changes. Continued use of Recipify Pro after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4. AI-Generated Content

We make no warranties that:

• Ingredient identification will be accurate or complete.
• Generated recipes are safe, suitable for your dietary needs, or free from allergens.
• Suggested recipes are nutritionally balanced or professionally reviewed.

You are solely responsible for verifying ingredients, checking for allergens, and ensuring any recipe you prepare is appropriate for you and anyone who will consume it. Recipify is not a substitute for professional dietary or medical advice.

5. Intellectual Property

All original content in the App — including the Recipify name, logo, design, and code — is owned by or licensed to Mozaik Software Solutions Ltd. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

Browse recipes sourced from TheMealDB are provided under their respective licences. AI-generated recipe content is generated dynamically and is not claimed as our intellectual property; however you acknowledge OpenAI's usage policies apply.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code.
• Use automated means to access the App or its APIs in a way that exceeds normal use.
• Upload images that contain illegal, offensive, or harmful content.
• Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or access controls.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mozaik Software Solutions Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to:

• Adverse health effects from following AI-generated recipes.
• Allergic reactions resulting from undetected or incorrectly identified ingredients.
• Loss of data due to device failure or App uninstallation.
• Interruptions to AI services (OpenAI, RevenueCat, TheMealDB).

8. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including OpenAI, RevenueCat, and TheMealDB. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of these services. Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. App Store Terms

These Terms are between you and Mozaik Software Solutions Ltd only, not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the App Store's terms of service, the App Store terms shall take precedence only to the extent required.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Recipify at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Locally stored data may be cleared by uninstalling the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law (including UK Consumer Rights Act 2015).
